| Do you Know Why daniel Negreanu is a Vegetarian?
A lot of people in the poker world were aware that Daniel Negreanu is a strict vegetarian but nobody really knew the reason behind it. It turns out that in his latest blog entry Daniel Negreanu decided to explain to everyone the reason for his eating habits. The reason given was definitely unexpected. Negreanu explained that it is not because he thinks it is healthy but because he has a life long weight bet with Ted Forrest. According to the blog entry, Negreanu and Forrest agreed on a prop bet 10 years ago and they stated that Negreanu would never weight more than 77kg (177 pounds) in his life. Negreanu laid 20:1 to Forrest and presumably Forrest paid him some sum and Daniel must pay it back 20-fold if he ever exceeds the weight limit. The lives of professional poker players are definitely ruled by gambling.          |
