News broke that online gambling site
Pokerstars decided to launch their team of professional online players. Apparently the site reviewed over 2,000 applications during the past two months to choose the players that were good enough to be in the team.
Team
Pokerstars Online has 23 members, 3 female and 20 male. Some of the chosen players are recognized figures from the online poker world. There is Steve "stevebets" Jacobs, who defeated poker pro ElkY Grospellier at the WCOOP in 2008, also Nichoel Peppe the girlfriend of poker pro Tad Jurgens.
