Tom Dwan Plays Ziigmund in his Live Challenge

The second leg of the Full Tilt Durrrr Million Dollar Challenge was completed yesterday in London. Tom Dwan played against no other than Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamies.

Both players bought in for $250k and both did a $250k rebuy during the PLO session. Blinds began at $500/$1000 and went up to $2000/$4000. Dwan was still tired from his previous encounters with Marcelo Marigliano and the mysterious Isildur1. However, he took a $68,000 win against the Finn.

The match was exciting and with a lot of swings both ways as it was expected. Both players stated that it could have gone either way and Ziigmund was very tired by the end of the match. “I played badly in the last five hours and made six or so bad calls in the last half an hour,” he said. “But we played for such a long time that I was a little bit tired. It was one of the toughest I’ve ever played in and it was great to be involved.” Ziigmund stated.

Tomorrow the challenge will continue as Tom Dwan plays Sammy 'Any Two' George.
