Phil Ivey Can No Longer do Flips

The word on the internet forums was that Full Tilt Poker had instructed its poker pros to stop doing flips at the tables. However, for a long time this was not taken into account and we could enjoy watching them pretty often.

Well, it turns out that a player who is sticking to the rules is Phil Ivey. Last week, Finnish poker player Ilari Sahamies asked Ivey to do some flups and the player said he was not allowed. This is the chat between them:

Some think that this restriction came into place as Phil Ivey will soon appear in the televised high-profile WSOP Main Event final table, a bit of poker legislation influence and of course, the player's reputation.

We ignore if this situation will change after the final table, but what we do know is that we cannot wait to see Ivey play there.

I think it has something to do with the poker=/gambling discussion. It is kinda hard to argue poker is a game of skill when your spokesman does flips for huge amounts of money.
