High Stakes Report: Huge Downswing for Gus Hansen

The virtual high stakes tables had some action last month, perhaps not as much as we are used to due to all the live tournaments going on, but it was definitely enough to make some players drop some serious money.

During the first half of the year professional poker player Gus Hansen showed a profit of $3.2 million at some point. However, results were slightly different during the second half of the year.

During July and August Hansen began a downswing that is probably as bad as the one Tom Dwan had at the beginning of the year. Figures were going down but it was in September when his stats showed a $950k loss making him the biggest loser of the month.

Other who find themselves with some red figures are Ilari Sahamies, Tom Dwan, Sami Kelopuro, and David Benyamine.

Patrik Antonius and Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond are on the other side of the equation making profits of $912k and $1.3 million, respectively.
