| Full Tilt Poker Faces LawSuits
Two poker players Lary Kennedy and Greg Omotoy have filed a lawsuit against Full Tilt Poker owners caliming that they opened an account with the site and their winnings of $80,000 were confiscated. The defendants include poker figures Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow, Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer who are owners of the site. They accuse the account holders of having used an automated play function called 'bots' (or 'robots') and not having made those winnings themselves. The use of 'bots' violates Full Tilt's terms of use so a bit over $80,000 were confiscated. But this is not the only lawsuit the site is facing as it is accused of manipulating the game with their own robots to make it a game of luck. The lawsuit was filed today in L.A. County as playing games of luck on the internet is illegal in California.          |
