Pitbull Poker Neutered?

Reports out of Costa Rica say that Pitbull Poker owners attempted to clear out their offices there in the middle of the night. Allegedly, they came to get the computers and some (former?) employees alerted the police.

Details are sketchy, but the fact remains that no one can play on Pitbull Poker at this time, and judging by reports, your funds there may be at risk. Rumors over the past couple months saw fraud and superuser allegations leveled at the flash-based site. We ran a story on this August 3, 2009 (Pitbull Poker Suspected of Security Issues). So these further developments do not come as much of a surprise.

I'm glad you took our advice, I almost feel like searching for sites that still have Pitbull banners up and ask them wtf they're thinking. In my opinion, part of running a poker site is to protect the players. Sadly I don't see many sites doing this.

I agree with you 100% Fonzi I also have never put any money ther but when I first heard the rumor I was quizzical and started searching for more info. All the sites had basically the same story as here. I was however surprised and offended when I saw sites who ran the story still showing the banners. This makes no sense from a business stand point. You already made your bed with theives now you want to make sure no one forgets it. Go figure

I know there have been a lot of bad things about Pitbull poker. I do have something good to say about that site, which were full of small fishes. It's also where I got a jump start for online poker twice. one was 3 years when I first started playing online but hit a big downswing later on. When I came back to play online again after a year away. I had $6 left in my Pitbull poker account back in Oct '08. Made almost 10k by the end of '08. All I did was deposit $10 from picclub and moved most funds out of there to play on other small sites. Hate to say this, but why swim with sharks in big oceans when there are fishes in small ponds.

Someone is now posting around the forums that he and his team had been on the ground in Costa Rica gathering evidence and working with authorities that led to the arrests of the Pitbull team.

A bit surreal sounding, but the real bottom line to players doesn't sound like it has changed much, "you lose your money"

Spaying is a general term used to describe the ovariohysterectomy of a female animal. Neutering is a general term used to describe the castration of a male animal.

I have a small bank there, but hardly ever played. They gave me the $10 a couple of years ago and I only played when I had no bank on other sites. I logged in but no games showing up in their lobby. More sites are gonna get what is due to them also. I can feel it in my bones. X
