Who would ever want to deposit any money there?

I mean, both have been caught cheating and there's no proof it won't happen again. They also need to change the whole look of the site, better software to start with. I also remember Absolutes support being really bad, so that also needs some fixing. TBH they have a lot of work to do, and I wouldn't be to surprised if Cereus flops.

The name also remindes me of cereals (which isn't a good thing).

It's not true, I would not hesitate to deposit there, of course only 1 time just for the sign up bonus

I wouldn't have a problem depositing either.

You need to keep in mind that these sites are huge and are in no danger of shutting down.

As for the scandals, it could have happened anywhere. What they are guilty of doing is trying to keep it quite. If they had come right out and announced that there was a security issue and it was being handled, the poker community would have accepted it. Instead they tried to brush it under a rug.

You also need to keep in mind that 90% of the players have no clue that there was ever a scandal. Most players don't read forums.

It's true, both sites have always had some great sign up bonuses, but I still woudn't be convinced to deposit there. I'd rather just deposit my money on more trustworthy sites, since I can't be 100% sure that these scandalous sites are legitemate.

I played there a long time ago and tbh wasnt too impressed with the software
I have since re-downloaded it and made a small deposit just to check their tourneys out
The software is a lot better and i could see it being very popular
