Higher Stakes on High Stakes Poker

The stakes will be increased tonight on High Stakes Poker. While the show has always lived up to it's title, with hundreds of thousands of dollars in play at any given time, the new format which begins with tonight?s episode take the show to a whole new level.

Beginning tonight the minimum buy in to sit in the game has been raised to half a million dollars. The starting lineup that will be competing for the five million or more that?s likely to be at the table includes Patrik Antonius, Doyle Brunson, David Benyamine, Antonio Esfandiari, Barry Greenstein, Sammy Farha, Jaime Gold, Daniel Negreanu and Cirque Du Soleil founder and CEO Guy Laliberte.

GSN will air the episode tonight at 9 p.m. EST this evening, with repeats at 7 p.m. EST Saturday and 2 a.m. EST on Thursday.
