Chips in Play at Final Table: 9,765,000
A player who has been called the best poker player in the world by many of his fellow poker pros made it to the final table this year. We were not surprised when we heard about this, as he had finished in the top 30 of the WSOP Main Event in the past 4 years, he took two other bracelets in this year's WSOP and we always knew he was great.
Phil Ivey started playing poker illegally in New Jersey when he was a teenager. He liked playing in Atlantic City and moved up the stakes little by little. Today, he is one of the best poker players in the world.
At this year's final table Ivey has a huge edge on the other players, he is the most skilled and experienced player. However, he is very short in chips so it will be a long way to the top and it will take a lot of skill. After making it to the November Nine Ivey said, "You have no idea how bad I want this. Today was a bad day, but I made it. I would say the wait is a drawback because I'm kind of in a groove playing with all of these guys. I'm going to forget some of the things I saw from them and will have to replay some of the hands in my mind. I would love to play through right now."
Fonzi thinks he is going to win, honestly I am not so sure, what do you think?
I repeat, I honestly cannot wait much longer to watch the final table be played out.
