Pokerstars has decided to add November Niner Joe Cada to their repertoire of sponsored pros.
With this, Cada joins Eric Buchman and Kevin Schaffel to be
Pokerstars representatives this November. This leaves chip leader Darvin Moon as the only player at the final table still not associated with any poker room.
Due to a WSOP rule (also a new one) which states “No more than three (3) players at the Final Table — and all other tables featured for television coverage — will be allowed to wear apparel with logos, patches or promotional language from the same entity.” Last year,
Pokerstars sponsored six players at the final table so maybe this is a way for the WSOP not to appear like a
Pokerstars infommercial on international TV.
Full Tilt has already chosen their 3 players, Phil Ivey obviously, along with Steven Begleiter and James Akenead.
Jeff Shulman is talready involved with CardPlayer Magazine and Antoine Saout recently signed with Everest Poker, a site that does not accept US players.
