Thank you :-) I feel better now.

BTW, can someone tell me how many Aces are there in a deck? I always thought there was only 4. But that cannot be true, because Aces keep coming up nearly every single hand on a table.

There must be more than 4 Aces in every deck, or they appear so often because everyone is "thinking" and "attracting" the Aces??? :P

of course there are only 4 aces on a deck, but remember that after every hand the cards are shuffle.. and its true aces will appear in almost everyhand, dont worry about it.. it doenst mean that aces will win everyhand...

Every time I pull up this thread I have to chuckle.

Yes Houdini, there are only 4 aces in a desk; however, in online poker it is stated that aces hit almost 40% of the time. Like Blinkin said, just because the ace hits doesn't mean they win. Beat as if to represent the ace, even if you don't have it.

Also, never feel alone on here. Things were crazy getting the marathon ready, setting up July games, and Vegas trip. There are always members lurking around and posting. Never be afraid to post about just about anything. If you have a question, post it. There are plenty of mods to help with any questions members might have.

This one is for you Houdini:

Feel the love my friend!

Why do the Aces hit almost 40% of the time? Why don't 4 or 7 or Q do that? :P

I'm sitting here trying to figure out where that % came from. If you're holding X, there is roughly a 12% chance of hitting your X on the flop. I'm using X in this example because it applies to any card in the deck.

The % changes as you add more variables into the mix.
