| I enjoy RAZZ and play it often. You definately have to keep an eye on every one elses cards that are showing. This will determine you betting and or raising. If you are holding low cards and you see those same cards on the other players hands then your chances of pairing them in your hand is reduced thus givng you a better shot at hitting the low hand.
I never bet or call if any of my original three cards are higher than a 9 unless I have A/2 or A/3 with it.
Another thing is lets say you are holding A,4,5 but you don't see any of those cards on the table, but you do see a few 2's and 3's Your chances of getting pairs are increased and the chances that the other players are holding the lower cards is increased. That is a toss up and because even though you have low card there are still a lot of lower ones out there that can beat your hand.
The key to the game it to watch closely what other cards are seen on the board and to guage your bets by those cards. |
