| I won a seat in 2005 at the WSOP in Tunica through a $225 R&A. I ended up 15th for almost $21K. I been trying to get back ever since. ![]() 2006 PokerTime/prima had a WSOP Multi-event tourney. Prize pack was WSOP buyins for a year. I won my way up through the satellites starting at $11. Finals was like a $1K buyin. I had all the right cards in the final. I was 3:1 chip leader HU. I was so nervous and needed a break that never come. Normally I'm good HU. The guy over took me, the lead jumped back and forth and the last hand he had a boat to my set. I got second for $10K. I was tickled and upset at the same time. Soooooooooo close! I had other WSOP satellite final tables and blew it. One of these days I'll return. |

| Glad to finally be in on the thread... Having gone last year, not sure what was more fun... the parties (well the cool ones that I didn't attend), the tourny scene or just meeting online personalities that I've chatted with and played against for a long time - like Fonzi. Oh... or almost stepping on Daniel Negreanu 10 minutes into being on the RIO property. You'd think a short, hockey fanatic would be better and working his way through the human traffic in the halls of the RIO. |
