Cake Poker gold cards

I dont know how much of you guys are cashtabling on Cake Poker, but if you do, check your gold card collection.

I placed 2nd in a gold card freeroll the other day and won $300. And today they are hosting a freeroll where you can win WSOP seats worth $2000. :D

I love Cake! It was a lot of play, and over a month, usually at the .25 - .50 or .50 - 1.00 tables, before I got my first, and ONLY gold card! lol! I log in every single day to check out the lottery, and in the six months I've been there, I've never seen the 7 of hearts involved with any combination. Lots of 2, 3, and 4's though!! I can wait!!

What series do you have? They are now handing out series 3 cards, which are much easier to get than the previous series.
All the 2, and 4's are often rebuys with a big field of players. Higher cards are often more +EV:D

Ive been playing Cake awhile now,and ive never got a gold card yet...oh well..as long as im not losing!

I have gotten 1 gold card, but if you read how they are distributed, high stakes ring games would get them the most often.

" You're eligible for Gold when seated at any of our low, medium or high stakes Real Money ring games.

Our Random Number Generator (RNG) will release one Gold Card from our Vault each time it reaches a certain amount of rake (as such, Gold Cards will fall more frequently in higher limit games). If the Gold Card released matches one of your hole cards, you've struck Gold even if you have folded out of the hand.

If no match occurs, the RNG will continue to randomly choose Gold Cards from the Vault. The process is repeated until a match is made making it possible to experience a Gold Rush and strike Gold in consecutive hands. "

Yes, you get more cards if you play higher stakes. At first I was thinking only the higher stakes players get the hight cards, but that seems not to be the case.

Are there more people playing ringgames on Cake? I most of the time play the 20NL or the 50NL, depending on where the fish are :D

it was a while before i got my 1st goldcard series 1
maybe 4 months then i had a rush of about 4 in three months
but only a couple in last 2 months
ive been able to usem all cept last 2
but the gold chips seem easy enough and gr8 tournies for them now
gr8 feature they added
i think ill savem all up for awhile like bankroll
instead of squanerding them i had 160 chips but usedem all
i think ill startlogging $ won frop these special tournies in a seperate column
i dont like seeing such a short stack im up to 15 again
ive been spending a fair bit of time at Cake lately i like to get a few
chips aday but im also a tourny fan maybe 6 at Cake and another 10 or 12
a day if i feel like 3-5 at a time multitasking two cps
well gl at the tabes and be patiant cards wil come gold and others
i think i remember seeing the 7 of hearts in a 3 card str in the lottery once
