My Doyle's Room Story

Originally posted at MPL.

Doyle's Room came back to the US market. I said publicly, "screw them, they left. I will concentrate on the sites that stuck it out with us."

Then perusing the MPL forum one day I see Sham in the shoutbox talking about the Doyle's Room quick draws. About the same time I see a pretty sweet freeroll over at HPC, one with a ticket to a wsop qualifier. Another forum was promoting their bounty game, and how if its your first one, they rebate you the buyin. So much for my moral stance, we are talking free money here.

I download Doyle's room and start signing up for Quick Draws. The 2nd one I play, I get 4th for $15.
Now I go and research the bounty, and the rebate sounds legit. So I deposit $50 and sign up for the bounty. I couldn't even get to the same table as any of the celebrity bounties, but I managed to get 57th for $36.

I applied for the rebate, and got it.
Then I withdrew the $50 back to epassporte.
The HPC freeroll is all or nothing. The winner gets a ticket to a $110 WSOP qualifier. 1 in every 130 get a $13,000 WSOP package. I managed to win this, so now on April 20th, I am taking a shot at a WSOP seat.
I played a couple small mtt's, but I am still sitting on $47 at Doyle's Room.

I would like to thank Shamanalix. Without his post about the Quick Draws, I probably do not download Doyle's Room. (2 quick draws, at least, daily)

I would like to thank Fonzi at HPC. I would never spend the cash to take a shot at the WSOP on my own. But now, win or lose, I can at least take a shot. (HPC is running buyins for these same seats, great value)

And thanks Doyle's Room. that rebate is quite unique.
(Next celebrity Bounty is March 13th)

add links if you like fonzi, i could, but that would be like work

No need to add links, there a big banner at the top of every page.

As for Doyles room, we had a terrible turnout tonight and a new member won himself a shot at playing in the WSOP for $1 and 20 minutes of his time. I really can't think of a place where you can find a better deal.

I would love to have played in tonight DoylesRoom game, but my work schedule got in the way.....WORK, definitely a four letter word. I registered for the CarbonPoker with less than one minute before it started, truly......and I took 3rd. I was happy with that. Of course, I would have won the DoylesRoom game, because (after all) I am the best!!!!
