Thumbs down Beware Poker4Ever

Poker4Ever Players Beware

On the 27th I played in a WSOP stage 1 tourney on this site where the winner gets a seat in a stage 2 tourney working to a chance to win a WSOP package. So I won this tourney and an hour or two later I try to take a seat at a stage 2 table and find I don?t have the voucher needed. I contacted their live support and am told it will be taken care of. This is at about 2:15 in the afternoon. No prob I play on numerous sites and had some other tourneys coming up. About 4:15 (AM now) I try to join another stage tourney and find I still don?t have the voucher so I contact support again. IM told the manager wasn?t in that day and again told it will be taken care of.

So the next afternoon I try again,no voucher. I?m again told the manager isn?t in sorry we will take care of it. Around 2:00 that morning I got an e-mail saying sorry about that I had been given the voucher id won 36 hours earlier. 12 hours later I try to play and, you guessed it, no voucher.

Now I?m thinking the hell with it so I send an e-mail to their regulating body and carbon copy them. The buy in was only a penny and the prize was only a seat I could have bought for 8 cents. This brought a swift response as within the hour I received a smartass e-mail saying they were sorry to hear that I wasn?t happy with their services but appreciated my interest in contacting them to express my comments. this is almost verbatim. Now this is more than 2 days after I won this voucher and more than 15 hours after they claimed to have made good on the prize.

Heres the rub, what does that say about the integrity of the site when your cheated out of a penny and its not even for a cash prize. Is this a site where you want to wager when there so many other legitimate sites to play.

Not surprised with this story, but I would be remiss if I did not say that withdrawals from p4e have always been quick and problem-free, and I have done several to my epassporte account.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience but my husband plays there all the time he hasn't had any problems getting his vouchers. But I would probably feel the same way if it happened to him or I

Now I'm started to understand that small poker rooms are tricky and that it's much better to play at big ones

That is indeed BS and will boycott the site and let my poker buddies know what went down. Seems pretty petty on their part.

One listens, but does not judge. Consider this, that is his first post here. I am not saying that this did not occur, I am saying be cautious and get all facts before judging. I admit he is angry enough to sign up to forums just to post, but I would like all sides to have their say. Anger could cause someone to stretch some things for effect. A balanced approach is always best

I am completely agreed with you judgments should be made calmly and with out any depressed state of mind . This will save you from big losses .

Thumbs down

I'm new here, and don't really want to start out in a negative manner...BUT this is a sore spot with me!! lmao!...When P4E first came online, I registered and deposited. I played there a lot to get points to qualify for several trnys,,,the last was a 10K trny that had required a lot of points to qualify for. The short story was after several hours of play, I was in the money and in position with a stack large enough to compete at the final table, which was coming up soon. At the time P4E was having problems keeping the trnys online...players bumped and unable to get back, trnys freezing...etc. You guessed it...trny blew up for me and by the time I managed to get back, after eventually deleting and reinstalling the program, I had been blinded out. I had screenshots, and loads of info to use in my inquiry to support (which was not avail on the weekend at the time) Because as I said, this is the short version, I'll stop by saying the email flew back and forth for 2 weeks (which I saved)...they admitted they screwed up, and the bottom line was they offered me a hat as compenstion!!! A HAT!!! I told em what to do with da hat!! I haven't made a deposit since. I then had to haggle with them to no end to withdraw my cash. And I was happy to share my experiences there with several forums I was active in at the time. Don't get me wrong...I loved the place...easy money...But I'll never make another deposit there again.
