What is it with Pokerstars?

THEY ALLOW U.S. Players and will let us deposit, but they don't have not one tournament specifically for U.S players. They have one for every other Country on the planet but nothing for U.S. players only.

Sure they do. When they do their international challenge, there are 2 teams. East and West US, in fact.

As for special freerolls?

Why would Pokerstars have to offer freerolls specifically for the US when they are such a large part of the over all population at the site, that main freerolls they offer are mostly US players.

It's about the same situation as it would be asking for a required # of seats for white males in Congress.

There are way to many ppl participating in Pokerstars freerolls to be worth the time playing them imo.

When I first started playing at PokerStars a few months ago they did have one for US players, but it disappeared from their schedule. Not sure why, but it was always full and I think it was for 10,000 players.

I think you just mentioned the reason Rose "it was always full and I think it was for 10,000 players"

I've been at Pokerstars for 3 or... geeze, might be 4 years now.

They have never needed to just throw Freerolls out there to be successful, like so many of the other sites do.

In fact, it's pretty clear the only place they throw free money, is at the players the truly generate revenue for them. You have to admit, it's a smart way to run the business.

If you want to find GOOD, solid, "worthwhile" freerolls, you have to stay to the 2nd and 3rd Tier sites. They are the ones spending money to try to gain market share. Downside has always been slow or no support *Usually" and sometimes a very difficult withdrawl policy.
