I can't help but wonder how many more are announcing the same thing today & as the days to come.

Holy smokes Batman......this isnt good. But if you read it all, they wont do this untill Bush signs the bill, and probably wont do it untill the enforcement and such is worked out. Lets just hope whe nthe smoke clears that these sites wont be running scared, I am sure they are all worried about lossing a good amount of business and will stick it out till the end, but then again there are already a few out there who have banned folks from certain states, someone somewhere, right now is working on finding that loophole to get past this....

This is a bad sign, even though I really hate Party Poker.

I was expecting the LARGEST sites to have the backbone to stand up to a very unconstitutional bill. *Maybe this is their way of doing so. *Create outrage in their base so hopefully, we the US Poker base, screams louder.

Well Party Poker along with 888 and SportingBet are Down HEAVILY in Monday trading.

Party Gaming PRTY.L is currently down 68% on news of them blocking US players from real money play. *I haven't been able to determine how many insiders have sold out of Party Poker over the last Month and Week to see how potentionally criminal insider trading charges could be brought... then again, this company is on the London Stock exchange and not subject to the legal rampage going on against corporate insiders in the US (very justifiable legal rampage).

Just got an email from Bet Fred poker - since I am from USA - shutting my account down. *I didnt care that they did this - I only played a freeroll there and had no money in my account. *Just worried about sites I play at, but have yet to hear from them.

Do we have a list somewhere of the sites currently bowing to pressures and closing to US players? *Might be good to keep track - also when all this blows out due to legal challenge, good to know which wimpy bastards not to return to.
