Ring games

Ok guys...in light of my pending bonus I'm still trying to obtain from Poker.com, I just thought I'd ask for some advice on ring game play. *It's definitely different from tournament style play. *Any advice that you can give me I would appreciate, from betting to bluffing, reading people, what size tables to play on...etc. etc.

Remember this. It is much different, as is my style. At most levels (and Ive found it worse as Ive moved up, completely honest) most online players are loose aggressive fish. Beating them is simple: patience. Wait on a strong hand, you will get paid off. Of course, you have to put out a few continuations, show a few bluffs to keep image, but overall, a tight game will be a winning game (and it consistently gains comp points to unlock bonuses).

what's better to play...limit games or no limit? seems like some sites i've played it's easier to cash on limit games, cause you have fishies out there.

Baby I have seen your tourny style in the league games and I think u will b fine playing that style in cash games. No limit, if you play fixed see flops where you can flop the nuts more than 1 way and play very aggressive i.e. if you flop a set bet cause you will get called to the river probably by more than 1 player. *Good Luck

If you are massaging a small bankroll, I actually suggest the Micro Limit NL and PL games. *You find very weak players at most sites and it's relatively easy to maximize pots when you hit a big hand.

Limit gets to be a reasonable game as the stakes move up, but many of the fish are still in the NL games.

I've been playing some ring games at Cake still trying to get my bonus there...just gotta tell you, the players on the omaha tables are TILT!!! *They bet and raise with just about anything and everything! *That's what I don't like, because I'm not a huge risk taker. *The other day though I got sick of it. *I was in a hand where I had the ace of hearts and another heart, with 2 hearts on the flop. *People were betting and re-raising like crazy. *I finally just said "screw it" and called their allin. *I hit my flush on the turn, and walked away with a $30 pot. *Not bad for sitting with $10!

Nice win... if you are RISK ADVERSE... I'd say NL/PL Omaha & Omaha H/L is NOT the place to be.

IT's the CRACK COCAINE of ONLINE POKER GAMBLING. *which reminds me, I need a fix - see ya at the Omaha H/L tables :D
