Posting Contest For November

Here's our latest shameless attempt to get you Tokers to start posting a little more... :potbiggrin:

For the month of November, the top 25 posters in the Poker Tokers forum will win entry into a $100 freeroll in early December. Top 9 will be paid.

Rules: Only quality posts will be counted. Each quality post will count for 1 point. If the staff here (mods and/or admins) thinks that your post is a really good one, we will count 2 points for it. In that case there will be a reply to that post from a staff member saying it deserves double points.
We'll be showing a running tally of posters points in this Contest section which will be updated every few days at least so everyone can see where they stand.

You can post anywhere on the forum - ALL posts will be read and counted, as long as they are quality posts. A quality post is a minimum of 10 words.
You can post jokes, stories, strategies... whatever you feel like.
Pictures, videos and the like can count as well.
Just so you don't all have to go too crazy, there will be a maximum of 5 posts counted per Toker each day.

Tiebreaker Rules: Since it's very possible that there will be more than one Toker tied for 25th place, here's how we'll decide the tiebreaker:
1st tiebreaker is total posts in Poker Tokers forum since join date
2nd tiebreaker will be join date
Therefore, if all your posts were only this month, the Toker who's been a member the longest will have the tiebreaker. You don't want to leave it down to this, so make sure you're not near the bottom of the posting points list!

ok You've got my attention...is there a way to know how we are doing in this? I know in CPU i can find my posts but can we have a leader-board showing top posters? or would you rather leave us in the dark to make it more mysterious? either way is good for me ....maybe it is too hard to put a leader board in place for this ...if so no biggie...thanks for a fun competition....you know what motivates us!
dang this makes my sixth for the day ...will you count my top posts? In case any get 10 points(not that I'm fishing for that ..ok I am! u cot me! ...man u guys know me so well ...lol)

This is the most original idea that I've seen in a long while. Kudos to all involved. Shows that stoners actually CAN do something productive ( we just don't usually want to! ) :potbiggrin: I'm not a big "poster" as I type with one finger, and thats if I am straight! But maybe the future holds positve changes... until next time. 'Licker :P

I'm very glad to participate in this competition, I have aware that I myself post a little bit here in the forum and I want to change my behavior.

I am new to this site and it def. seems awsome to me, I am not much of a talker at all but I love to play poker,I think that it is my favorite past time I hope to someday win a seat into the world series of poker......... :p :o
