WSOP MAIN EVENT

By now most of you know that a pro did not win the Main Event. So I'd like to do a poll to see what you think about a pro ever winning again or even really making the final table.

I would say eventually yes, these days there are so many amateurs that they greatly outnumber the pros. However I would say someday a pro will win it. Just give it some time.

Well the line between ameteur and pro has been so blurred not really sure its even valid any more, but as far as full time pro, sure some day one of them will win.

Just Shell-Shocked

The Pros will adjust,, they ain't dummies.. Hell, Doyle been changing games and strategies for 5 decades !! or more !!

They just have to catch up to the new betting strategies we are creating on the Internet, and it will be a clash of the Titans again. But new blood has come on the scene,,,, and we are a part of it.

I agree, it would be quite difficult for a pro to win the main event this year.

A little FYI here, Annette15 took down WSOP Europe in 2007 at the age of 18. She is my front runner to win an event in Vegas within the next 4-5 yrs. For those of you who don't know who she is, try www.pocketfives.com.

Of coarse a pro will win again even with the numbers that are playing now there are still a few pros in it at the end I think there was 3 or 4 at the final table in '07. I thought Helm had it to. theres a reason that even with 6k people in the main event there is still some pros in every year.

Of course one will eventually. It's just the large fields and the fact that there is an amount of luck involved that prevents them from winning every year.
