Internet Gambling Regulation Act

Frank Introduces Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act of 2007

I like the title too, REGULATION not Unlawful......

Nice bill, may need a little tweeking, but something hopefully a majority of congress can agree on.

Interesting. The only issue is how long it will be stalled. With a lame duck President that obviously doesn't care anymore about his legacy due to his massive unpopularity and a congress with more focus on winning elections the fall than enacting policies at the moment our situation seems to be stagnant.

I don't see much opportunity for change unless the RepulsiveCon spares and DemoCRAP implants decide that in order to keep our votes they need to act like they give a damn about some of our concerns and do some real government work.

I am not exactly high with anticipation on anything happening. I'm pretty sure the only thing that is important to the Modern American Monarchy is what piece of garbage wins the White House. Will it be some retread slob like Hillary Clinton? Will it be some "why are you even bothering to run again" tool like John McCain? Will it be new blood and fresh ideas (seemingly thus far) Barak OBama? Will it be some run of the mill glory hound Carolina senator with an expensive hairdo?

What happens after the next status quo official takes office? Will it be another huge dose of the same old same old? Will they waste a lot of our time trying to make themselves famous prosecuting and punishing old regime cabinet members for the war in Iraq? Will they actually act like a real government for a change?

I'm pessimistic about it all, but as it is all the choice we seem to ever have I guess I'll just have to live with it until they screw people so far and create chaos and revolt.
