Online tourneys Vs. Live Tourneys and giving away my hand

I've been playing online Texas Holdem for 4 years now.The last 9 months I've been getting in on live tourneys here in my home town.I'm doing rather well but I'm haveing trouble with shakeing when i'm holding really good cards or when i know i have the hand won.How can i stop doing this? The others just fold when they see me shake while I bet or raise.Its pissing me off....can anyone give me some advice please. Thanks!!!!

Are you for real...LOL. Everytime I go to a live tourny people are usually paying more attention to there cards than to anything else...I have a hard time believing this. Well I guess if you are serious about shaking when you get good cards, I dont know, listen to music while your playing poker or something. Otherwise you just have to practice controlling yourself. With experience these things should go away. I still have a hard time believing this, people in front of you just fold there cards when they see you shaking...I doubt it. No offence.

Well if everyone's folding there hand when your shaking, why don't you start shaking everytime you throw in a bet...that way everyone will fold right! :lol: :lol:

In all honesty here, I actually had problems with shaking the first two times I played live, but it didn't make people fold... it just made people aware that I was the Fish that I was!

I know this was a "joke" topic, but I guess shaking something we all went through at some point at the beginning of our blossoming tourney careers!

Or is that just me...
