HOW YOU CAN HELP MOTLEYMAN (aka JEFF)

One of our Suited Pockets long-time members, and a good friend, Jeff (MOTLEYMAN) recently had a devastating house fire that took everything. Yes, everything was lost, but, I'm happy to report that EVERYONE IS OK.

If you'd like to help Jeff and his family, here are some ways to do it. You can PM FORREST_PUMP or ACE IS BACK and get Jeff's mailing address.

1) Send a stuffed animal for his 4 year old son, or a toy.

2) Send a gift card to a clothing store or Target, or Bed Bath & Beyond, etc., etc., you get the idea.

3) Make a deal with yourself. If you play a freeroll and money -- send it to Jeff. Wolfe from the OFC said he would double all his freeroll winnings over the weekend. It's an idea.

4) If you can't afford to do any of these things, send a card and put a smile on his face and let him know he's being thought of.

Final note. Suited Pockets is a family unlike any family you've ever known. We stick up for and take care of each other. Anyone is welcome here and if you stick around you'll come to know that you can be a member of our family just by showing up.

OMG!!!! MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY. THAT HAD TO BE ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING. NOT JUST LOSING THEIR BELONGINGS, BUT THE EMOTIONAL DEVASTATION THEY MUST HAVE ENDURED AND CONTINUE TO ENDURE. I purchased a Bed, Bath, & Beyond gift card today, and I looked through some items at my house (gloves, toys, etc...) that might be useful. You all should definitely do your part in this, whether that is by sending money, items, prayers, or even just a card to let them know they're in your thoughts.

I did the same thing at BB&Beyond and a Starbucks card for those moments when he needs to disappear and get a buzz.

How awful! Why don't we have a charity tournament for him? Where all the buy-in goes to them and a percentage of everyone who moneys? Like can't you get a site to add money to the buy-in? Make it a low buy-in with rebuys and add ons with say $100 added? I know, I know, I make it sound easy to get something like that set up, but I know poker.com runs some charity events??? Just a thought. Thanks!

When putting our box of stuff together my kids ask "whats up".Within a minute of being told 2 more Beanie babies from Katey and a 5 dollar bill from lil John added to the McDonald's card i had got(4 year olds think that place rules).I wasn't going to post but KO DOS to lil John and Katey Thanks kids :D

Those games have been added to the League schedule. Please play them if you can. If you can't, try to send Jeff a gift card, some basic household items, whatever you can afford. Even if you don't have much to give, I think everyone here can buy a stamp for 37 cents and let him know he's in your thoughts.
