New Online Gambling Laws in USA.

Many of the online gambling sites still allow citizens of the USA to gamble on their web pages. Some will guarantee that they will not give out your information to ANYONE. This seems to sound like it's still OK to send money to online gambling web sites, although you live in the USA. What say you? Thanks

what say me?

I believe they will just TAX! it.Then we will be able to play again. But until then we will have to hear how terrorist organizations can use poker sites to send loot to one another and therefor must be stopped!..of course in the end it will just be.....TAXED!!! with nothing done about the intended reasons to shut us U.S. players out of the mix.

Is my understanding correct that it is illegal to transfer money to a gambling site?

It is illegal for a financial institution to transfer funds to a gambling site, but not illegal for an individual to play poker online with the exception of two states that have their own State laws making it a felony to play online poker.
