BB donkeys You know who you are :)

I asked this question at the table and pretty much got told that You need to raise AA allin even when the blinds are in 1st or 2nd level. I believe I raised only 4 or 5 times and got called by the BB with 56 off. BB flopped the straight and took all my chips. I know it was my fault for loosing all with just 1 pair after raising getting re-raised on all streets.

I believe the flop was 4 7 8, am I correct FORREST? LOL

The question is how much to raise when you get delt AA in middle position in the 1st or 2nd level when all still have about the same stacks, if you want to get hands like 5 6 off to fold before the flop.

Well, if this happened to occur in a freeroll, you are usually safe going all in preflop no matter what the blinds are. It seems you will almost for sure be called be one or two people at the table.

Pocket aces are so evil... I love to hate them but will always go all in in a freeroll or low buyins... All I can do is hope I get a call and win...

I dont know if i would call him a donkey. From what ive read it was a low level in the tournament so it would be a cheap call. From time to time in the lower levels i like to play connectors from the blinds and suited connectors from other positions. I guess it just depends on your style of play and how loose you are early on.

"I dont know if i would call him a donkey."

I know, I was just having some fun, since IT WAS our great Forum Owner n all. This is the Bitch n Moan section. I was just Bitchin and blowing off some steam.

I did admit it was me who I should really be bitchin about, as I really go outplayed.
