Freerolls Players/ Real Money PLayers

Ok folks ive joined up to this site in FEB 07 so im fairly new to the forum.
Now i've notice that the freeroll events versus the real money events
pale in comparison.
FREEROLLS----- 20 to 50 players any givin freeroll event
REAL MONEY-----6 to 20 players (IF THAT)
Now i know some can't get money to these sites (for what ever reason)
i can understand that. but there needs to be some way of getting more of the freerollers over to the real money side of this forum.
Now im not lashing out at anybody but i would like to just see more players playing for real cash
It just doesn't seem fair to us real money players :? :? :?

I agree MrSmooth....I am usually the most vocal person here ranting at the forum about such things as this...But I myself, cannot even play at every MasoMoto game because I don't have money at every site we play at and have no way to deposit....but if I can,I do....I'm a firm believer in supporting your forum and the best way to do that is to play the buy-ins....Unfortunately,every forum has their fr whores who aspire to no more than getting something for nothing.. :x ...Btw,thank YOU for playing the buy-ins,it's much appreciated!!.....It's a pleasure ( umm, mostly  ) to have you at the tables......

Well THANK YOU Talk. I'm glad to see there are others that do agree with me. Now i know and i do understand that not everyone has means to deposit and that is ok, but just like you said there are freerollers who take advantage of the limited monatary upside to the freerolls and they may go and use the cash at other tables instead of investing in the MASOMOTO LEAGUE to where they could attempt to increase there bank roll. Well I've said all i can say on the matter and maybe just maybe things in the MASOMOTO will pick up.... :D :D :D :D :D :D

This forum is not alone. I play at some other forums and the amount of people who play the freerolls are always larger than the amount who play buy in events. Pretty much some people will always be freerollers.

I have breached this subject before on another forum. A $5 buyin can be quite intimidating to someone who has done nothing but play freerolls. They maybe someone that plays a freeroll and then takes their winning to the NL tables and most likely looses it all Another freeroller will get a small win and grind away at the Limit tables and other freerolls until they feel they have a good bankrolls then will start playing the buy in events. What is a good bankroll? Well some people might think they can get buy with 10x the Buy for an event. So, they would have to build up to $55 (including fees). Some people may think 30x is proper. That's $165 with fees. Now for anyone that has played freerolls exclusively you know how long it could take to get that much money. And sticking to limit games and freerolls it will still take quite a while. Then there are the real conservative players that think 60x the Buyin is a proper bankroll.

Now you could say why waste all that time. Just deposit some money. Even if you stuck with only 30x the Buyin that is $165 that you would need to deposit. For many people that is some serious money.

OK, I have rambled on enough. Just injecting my thoughts on the situation.

In the end there will always be more freerollers than non freerollers in tournaments.

Perhaps if we could find a site that has a $0.25 buy in event with NO REBUYS it might entice freerollers to buy in. Or, $0.50 cents. $7.50 to $15 might be something a freerolls might had as a bankroll.

I have been away for awhile. i was very active before the forums facelift. Back then we had challenges against other forums. Freerolls paid out real cash which helps in building bankrolls, which in turn allows one to play the buyins. Now it's for point only. Personally I find it tough to sit for an hour or more and not be rewarded with cold hard cash. hey I'm going to be around for a while and see if it's worth being part of the Cartel. I remember the days when the CARTEL was feared by other forums. Now you rarely see the name listed in any of the major poker sites tourny section.
