Doing something wrong or destin to go broke?

Hello,
I play in a tourney every Sat.
$100 buyin,$15K Guarantee,$5k 1st place
Between 140-180 player every week.
I have Final tabled 3 of last 6.
The other I have made down to less than 25 players and been knocked out by some who is frustrated and ready to go home,They make a bad call and they catch a 3 outer on the river.ALL 3 TIMES!UGH!!!
The stacks have allways been about the same between us and would give me a nice cushion.
SB has just lost about 9K
1st hand Blinds 800-1600
Stacks Me BB 17000 AQ spades
SB 14000
4th pos calls,SB calls,(4800 in pot)
I raise 4000, 4th folds,SB calls reluctantly(easy read-he's upset)
12800 in pot.
I have $11400 SB has $8400
Flop come 2 club 4 heart 9 spade
I doubt he called preflop with any of that.
He checks.
I push ALL-in.He starts to put his hand on his head and is getting more upset,mumbling.Now I am thinking OH NO he is going to call with any 2 cards,he is ready to leave.I wish I almost wish I would not have bet even though I am sure I have the best of it.
Out of 180 player you would think that all the dead money would be gone at 3 tables.Antway back to the hand.

I feel pretty good but I have been in this situation a lot and true to form.

Effectivley ending my tourney.

1 week before 135 player Pays 13 places
18 players left Blinds 1k-2k
My stack $25K
SB $35K approx.
I am in th BB with AA
everyone fold to the SB who raises 5K
I reraise to 15K
SB goes allin and I call
SB catches Flush.WOW

3rd tourney Carbon copy of 1st
just want to vent maybe get some input.
