Great post Samango! I'm giving you double posting points for this one! I've been using .jpg for my screenshots for a while now. Took me awhile to catch on though - uploaded hundreds of screenshots to photobucket with the default .bmp. I wasn't even thinking about it. Now it takes only a couple of seconds for each upload.

Hey tick, I know you were having problems with your PrtScrn.
Did you see the first post by Toledo?
He suggests using Fn (function) key with PrtScrn if you are on a laptop.
