if you play by skill the amount of times 'luck' comes into play becomes limited (not eliminated)

Well Asssistanc you got an explaination for me having AQ and opponent having KQ. There is a Q on the flop and turn nothing and nine times out of 10 the KQ hits that K on the river and beats me. This type of thing has been happening way to often lately. I have been in this kind of bad streak for months now.

yes of course, I have an explanation for everything....

Really you shouldn't even consider thinking about bad streaks, with what cards you play, streaks/session should only look at money.

personally I grade good players on how much they lose on a down swing, not how much they win on an upswing.

seems like your bad streak is more then about AQ,
or getting unlucky with bad beats.

If your down swing is lasting "months"
you really should re-evaluate your game

possibly overplaying 1 pair
or not betting enough to push people out.

Knew you would have something for me. Well in that hand I raised 3 times the big blind and had 2 callers. I made a pot size bet after the flop and both called. On the turn I pushed all in and still got called by the KQ. I have tried doing things different in my game also. Maybe I just need a break.

You're not taking reads into consideration. Pros can compute information that most of us never even consider when making a decision.

I'm always in awe when Hellmuth or Negreanu call their opponents hole cards. It's a 6th sense that gets developed over time.
