Looks like you are doing great at Omaha. I have played it some, but only been fairly success full. Prefer NL.

Omaha is a completely different game then Holdem. Omaha is much more a drawing game.
Preflop hand selection is also different. You need to consider all the different combinations your hand can make, and prevent you play rags. All your cards should work together. If you get dealt KKJ3, you can play the KK, KJ but the 3 doesnt connect with any other card. KK looks good tho, but in a multiway pot there is little chance you can win the pot on the river with just an overpair
On PKR tho, lots of people play Omaha like it is Holdem, and overplay overpairs, and strong holdem hands like AKxx or AQxx.

there really is no strategy for PL Omaha
wining is based on how bad others play....
normally in Omaha trapping is not suggested unless you hold the absolute nuts, I like to play a little dangerous and trap with weaker hands.

Dunbar is almost perfect with her description of hand selection
although there is 1 key element missing...
remember how in Holdem people say that suited doesn't / shouldn't really factor into your hand, like 98 suited is same as 98 off suit.
In Omaha it makes the world of difference. 99% of the time you will get paid off holding a straight flush vs someones Ace High Flush.

I will always limp to see a flop if I have nut flush draw.
I will always fold AAAA or any quads pre flop
I wil always fold AAxx that is not suited or won't give me Broadway
I will always fold 5544 and any 2pr lower
I will always........ make a lot of folds.

I'm writing out my PL Omaha Lesson,
with the same respects to my Micro Holdem Guide

Oh yes, and if you are tilt sensative, dont play. Omaha can have huge swings.

Assistance, do you also play the omaha cashtables? Or just tourneys?
