There was this guy on the 2+2 forum that made a video showing him playing 32 tables at FT and Stars. So he made sure that he was making the correct decisions and many times did not know whether he won or lost the pot. What I got from this is the method is really more important than the result. The result comes from the method. If you are chasing or calling big bets with draws you will win a share of pots, but you are fighting long term odds which will hold up over time. It's like these people on diets who are always bragging about the 5 pounds they lost but they have been dieting for years and are still fat. If they found a method and concentrated on it rather than the short term results, they would lose weight and not even have to weigh themselves. So, as long as I get a call on a big bet when I am ahead on the flop, I feel that I will win in the long run, since I made the other player make a mistake.
