Free Money from Pokerstars
PokerStars is in the middle of their Summer Games promotion. The tournaments are listed in Tourney>Regional.
You may say, "But Lk, I still need to be a good poker player to win the $5 for the top 250 players". You could say that, but you would be incorrect in the assumption. And I am here to tell you how to win that $5.
You can find the round 1 schedule right here: http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/promotions/summergames/?source=hpcmax50 . Now I will use the current game #6 as an example. These games run every day at 8 pm, 8:30pm, 10pm, and 10:30pm. You can only play one from each group. So you can only play one 5 card draw game. You do not want to play right off. Give it a couple days. The 5 draw games end on the 2nd of October. I will probably play mine on the first. Also, don't play the 8pm game, way too many people play that one. I would suggest playing the 8:30 pm, or the 10:30 pm games. If it stays the same as it has always been, you should have around 500 or so players in the games. That means 50% of the players are going to make $5. I am not saying that you can fold to the money, though you might be able to. I am saying you now have a 50% chance of making $5. Now get in there and make some money!
