Question Online Duplicate Poker Room Blames the Global Economy for its Decision to Shut Down

Two weeks ago the team announced they were one of the hottest poker rooms, gathering more and more players and that they had registered their 250,000th player. Sadly, Duplicate Poker has shut down its tables to all of its players because, they say, the current financial crisis does not allow them to provide a service anymore.

In a communicate from the Duplicate Poker team they say that they have been bidding wellbeing from their player and that due to global financial crisis of the moment they cannot continue to provide a good service for their clients. (Read whole note http://www.holdempokerchat.com/forum...s-s-doors.html )

Duplicate poker is a variety of poker that is based on duplicate bridge and some rules of texas hold'em, and it is legal in the US. Players develop a different strategy for winning as the objective is ot have more chips than your opponents at the end of the game, many say it is purely a skill-based game. Many players enjoyed the clear rules and transparency of the game and are now shocked by this decision as the company previously reported they had gone up by 25% in traffic and that their popularity kept increasing.

All poker players can only hope for the global financial crisis not to shut down more poker rooms, because that was the main reason for Duplicate Poker to do so, wasn't it?
