| What do you guys think about the fact that the final table is played in November?
In my opinion this has its own pros and cons (like anything in life, really).
First off, this is a move made to build up the tension and drama. ESPN is hoping to gain better ratings this way, which has been a problem for them.
By having the almost 4 month long break between now and Novemeber 9th, players will also have time to study the other players at the table and possibly get valuable information on how their opponent play.
They will also have time to get sponsors, which means $ for them and air-time for the sponsors.
To the cons I would list possible collusion of some sort, and death cases (very unlikely, but possible). |
