for those of you who are confused... An overlay is what happens when there is a guarantee and not enough players to cover that guarantee.
Example, 100k guarantee with a 1k buyin and only 70 players buyin for a total of 70k. There is now 30k that is covered by the poker site (overlay) for the guarantee. This is free money as you don't have to beat out the extra 30 players.
