Ottawa Senators vs Anaheim Ducks
.....vs......
Been a long time since Canada had a good team to run for the cup in a long time. I a Toronto Maple Leaf fan, who normally despise the Senators during the regular season; and every other team for that matter, will be cheering on the Sens to win the cup.
The Sens and Ducks history could not be more different.
the Ducks, born on the fantasy that hockey can thrive in the hot weather in the south, and the team was first created because of a movie (how sad sports have become) Disney's "The Mighty Ducks".
The Ottawa Senators, use to have a hockey long ago, but then folded, then returned to one of, if not the worst season a hockey team has every had.
Ottawa is also our nations (Canada eh) capital, and every canadian is cheering for them, (if not, then they should be deported back to where they came from)
It would also be better for the game itself that a Canadian teams wins.
I mean, we win at every other level of hockey, mens and womans. Why not a pro team win too ?
