| My buddy was over here earlier arguing about how dumb this is...but really, everyone gets 9th place money right off. They get a couple months to promote themselves, and a free trip to vegas. "all expenses paid" In the TV business, that means all expenses...and probably a ton of perks...(maybe even free percs). Plus, this is the price the sport must pay if its going to grow its popularity. It would be like football telling TV that they won't stop playing for TV timeouts, not doing this to help espn create the drama they need to get better ratings would be just as dumb and shortsighted.
So quit your whining. Take your Million dollars, live it up, do the interviews and savor the 15 minutes of fame.....now you just have to get to that final table.
