When I play live I tend to play very tight aggressive 15-20% of the flops. I find that this is a good strategy to get me into the money, but it also keeps me from amassing a big chip stack.

When I play online I try to open it up a little more and play more aggressive. usually around 30-35% of the flops. I don't think it's the % that's hurting me. What is hurting me is playing loose at the wrong time. My reads which were once great have been really bad lately.

Mix bad reads with untimely aggression and you have a deadly mix. So I've been trying for the time being to tighten up my play and things have slowly improved. Two other things that I've been lacking is patience and desire. I find that at some point in every game I've played recently that I've lost the desire to be playing (both live and online). I'm really not sure how I can get that back though.

"Americans have played poker throughout history. Playing poker on the internet is simply an example of an American tradition evolving into the 21st century. It is unfathomable that poker, an American pastime and game of skill, should be banned for the millions who enjoy playing responsibly."
