wow nice topic!!!
I tell ya I thought that for a bit, then read about every pokerbook you can download for free on a "bit torrent", and had just about the same results you had during freeroll play, and never really did go back to the way I did play..I think the best thing that help me was in big field freerolls was to take a gamble!!! and when I have a strong hand ,not be afraid to put my tourney on the line.now I don't agree with this kinda play, I preffer postflop play, more that preflop play, but their are times for it! and being lucky is about the only thing that can beat skill at times....

We all would like to have the biggest stack the first hour and thats the way I'd play win/lose BACK THEN (lol) THEN AFTER trying to improve my game, so I could get away from the everyday freerolls.. I do still play the better ones tho, and I believe PokerTime is having their $7,000. tomorrow, thursday Apr.17th....and I will play them on bad runs also,If I can see it being a bad run..

But I don't play like I use too, Its seems if I can just hold off intill the blinds are bigger, at times, I'll have a good game!!!,(SOMETIMES)...... chips are a big factor about reaching the pay and unless we make-em we aint going to have to worry about IT..at some point of time we are going to have to take a gamble..Im just not lucky enough to get that many games that are give -me's . and we have to be carefull and lucky at time for it to work out!!.

A good player that don't play much anymore told me: "To win a tourney, you must first make the money" and that made a lot of sence to me...EVEN IN FREEROLLS AND FUNCHIPS
