Not just for article research, but because I need to know what the new player is exposing him or herself to. If I'm teaching someone and they suddenly stop me by telling me about how a 4 way all in pot in the top 50 of a 3000 player tourny... well, having played some of these things, I'm not going to call them a liar!
But it's also a fun thing to do while multitasking. If I have 4 other windows open (writing, banking, por... um, art appreciation, etc.), I'm in no condition to play real money poker. But a freeroll? Why not? I've also won all sorts of neat things, a signed Poker Aces book, a cute bobblehead, etc. Some things money can't buy. | I hope one day you'll try real money poker by playing cash games, sit n go and ect ... because it's really more funny than freerolls |
