The default is .BMP but this produces a very large file. (probably why you're having a problem)
Toledo recommends using .gif but there is a serious loss of quality with this format.
I would use .jpeg (or .jpg) which produces a high quality pic with file sizes smaller even than .gif files
Hope this helps ;) | Great post Samango! I'm giving you double posting points for this one! I've been using .jpg for my screenshots for a while now. Took me awhile to catch on though - uploaded hundreds of screenshots to photobucket with the default .bmp. I wasn't even thinking about it. Now it takes only a couple of seconds for each upload.
