If you aren't sure how you'll deal with live play... find out what the regular tourny schedule is at that casino and make sure you make an effort to play in 1 or 2 of their lower buyin regular events.
Put yourself in a mental mode where you are treating it as a major event and get used to handling chips and reading people under pressure. It'll pay dividends if your body is ready to deal with facing 1 or 2 raises and then you look down to find Aces.
I was surprised the first time it happened to me in "non house game" live play and how my hands did agree with what my brain was telling them... ended up fumbling the chips really badly. |
